TREATMENT AREAS

Targeted Relief for Your Specific Pain Areas

SoftWave™ Therapy is FDA-cleared and uses electrohydraulic shockwaves to treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. During your consultation, your provider will assess your symptoms and determine the best approach for the areas you want to heal.

Back Pain

Back pain can severely limit your mobility. SoftWave™ Therapy targets the underlying tissue to reduce inflammation and stimulate the body's natural healing process, providing relief for chronic and acute back issues.

Knee Pain & Jumpers Knee

Knee injuries often respond exceptionally well to acoustic waves. Treatment focuses on improving blood flow and repairing damaged tissue to help you regain function and comfort in the joint.

Plantar Fasciitis & Foot Pain

Heel and foot pain can make every step difficult. SoftWave™ Therapy helps break down scar tissue and regenerate healthy cells in the plantar fascia, reducing pain without injections.

Shoulder Pain & Impingement

Shoulder pain can obscure your range of motion. Treatment targets the affected tendons and muscles to relieve pain and restore mobility in the rotator cuff and surrounding areas.

Elbow Pain (Tennis/Golfer's Elbow)

Localized pain in the elbow can linger for months. By activating resident stem cells in the exact location of the pain, the treatment accelerates healing in these stubborn tendons.

Sports Injuries & Strains

Treatment can address the localized areas of damage that occur from overuse or athletic injuries, such as shin splints or hamstring pain. Healing this tissue helps you get back to your active lifestyle faster.

Achilles Tendinopathy

The localized area of tissue in the Achilles tendon can be difficult to heal through rest alone. Treating this area helps create a stronger, more resilient tendon to support your daily movement.

Chronic Wounds & Ulcers

Distinct from standard musculoskeletal pain, SoftWave™ can target specific areas of slow-healing tissue. Accelerating blood supply to these areas helps the body close wounds and repair skin.

Neuropathy & Nerve Pain

Treatment can also be applied to areas affected by nerve pain, such as Morton's Neuroma. This helps modulate inflammation and create a more comfortable, pain-free daily experience.

OUR APPROACH

A Personalized Approach to SoftWave™ Therapy

Every consultation is tailored to the individual. The team reviews your goals, medical history, and treatment priorities to determine whether SoftWave™ Therapy is appropriate and how treatment planning should be approached.

01

Non-Surgical Treatment Approach

SoftWave™ Therapy uses electrohydraulic energy as a non-surgical treatment option for pain and injury. Your consultation is designed to explain how the treatment works, what to expect, and whether it may be appropriate for you.

02

Customized Treatment Planning

Some patients want to focus on one specific joint, while others want to discuss a broader pain management plan. Your consultation is designed to help determine the most appropriate approach based on your goals and provider assessment.

03

Treatment Planning and Expectations

Results and treatment timelines vary by patient. Your consultation is designed to review expected treatment planning, recovery considerations, and realistic expectations based on your goals.

MEET OUR TEAM

Aptos Chiropractic Center Team

SoftWave™ Therapy Specialists

In your consultation, you should not get a hard sell. You should get a clear, honest assessment of whether SoftWave™ Therapy makes sense for your goals — and if it does not, you should be told that directly.

The team’s role is to review your goals, explain what this treatment can and cannot do, and help you decide whether a non-surgical regenerative plan is the right next step.

A strong consultation begins with transparency, because not every patient is an ideal candidate and realistic planning is what leads to better outcomes.

The focus is on personalized guidance, thoughtful treatment mapping, and straightforward answers rather than pressure.

That is the kind of consultation experience that builds trust and keeps expectations grounded.

ABOUT SOFTWAVE THERAPY

Advanced Non-Surgical Treatment Overview

SoftWave™ Therapy uses a process called electrohydraulic shockwave therapy for select treatment areas. A consultation can help determine whether this treatment may be appropriate for your goals.

Treatment outcomes vary by patient. Your provider can discuss how results may change over time and what factors can affect long-term healing.

A consultation is the best way to determine whether SoftWave™ Therapy is appropriate for your goals, treatment areas, and expectations, because the procedure is not right for everyone.

CANDIDACY FOR SOFTWAVE THERAPY

Who Is a Good Candidate for Treatment?

SoftWave™ Therapy is a specialized regenerative technology — not a universal solution. A consultation is required to confirm clinical candidacy, but ideal candidates generally share the following characteristics.

Focused on Healing, Not Just Masking Pain

SoftWave™ Therapy is designed to repair and regenerate specific areas — such as the back, knees, shoulders, or feet. It is not a temporary pain-masking procedure, and candidates who understand this distinction tend to have the most productive consultations.

Seeking Long-Term Relief

Ideal candidates maintain consistent lifestyle habits but want to address localized pain that has not responded to standard rest, ice, or physical therapy routines. The procedure works best when patients are committed to true recovery.

Seeking A Non-Surgical Approach

Candidates are looking for an FDA-cleared, non-surgical option with little to no required downtime — one that allows them to return to normal daily activities quickly after treatment, without relying on injections or heavy medications.

Realistic About the Timeline

Damaged tissue is naturally repaired and regenerated by the body over time. Results develop gradually over the weeks following treatment, though some feel immediate relief. Candidates who understand this tend to have better outcomes and higher satisfaction.

Who Is This Procedure NOT For?

SoftWave™ Therapy is not appropriate for individuals with certain medical conditions, such as active cancer in the treatment area, or those who are pregnant. A consultation will review your complete medical history to confirm suitability.

THE CONSULTATION PROCESS

What to Expect During the Consultation

The consultation process is designed to be clear, practical, and personalized, so you understand exactly what SoftWave™ Therapy may be able to do before moving forward. As part of our $49 special, you will receive the following:

SoftWave™ Consultation

Let us know where you’re experiencing pain and symptoms and how it has been affecting your daily life. The doctor will go over health and family history to help determine the underlying causes.

Evaluation

We will do an evaluation of the area in pain or discomfort to make sure that SoftWave™ Therapy is the best treatment protocol for your unique situation.

Introductory SoftWave™ Therapy Treatment

Up to 300 Pulses, which will allow us to get biofeedback from your body that we call indicators. This will give us insight to correct the issue and demonstrate how it can create relief in the affected areas.

Doctor's Report of Findings

Together the doctor will go over the findings and explain in detail the various treatment options and determine what's right for you.
